It's the only real story DLC we got and didnt have significant lore or a good story. It's THE AoE weapon right?įor the dlc and the game I would give a good 7/10. The other two are also neat, but I just never have a reason to use the Storm hollow aside from flying. Scythe are also pretty neat because of the callback to Death. The claws are my favorite because they are the most different from the flails. They all have new counter animations, more or less new attacking animations and different attack speed. Looks cool, but getting it when you did anything else in the game already, is kinda wasted, unless you like grinding repetitive games. ![]() Also the most useless enhancement imo, higher Salvation speed and more damage (a hafnir for the crossblade!). The final boss takes the cake though, he talked, he is a mega-zord of the colorful constructs and has cool attacks.įinally critical damage, that takes me back to Darksiders 2 where you mostly went arcane or damage and high crit, sadly the enhancement is restricted to the whip. I especially liked the Statis boss who healed itself when it was low and you had the Statis hollow activated. The fact that the four hollow bosses didnt say anything and all looked the same was disappointing, yet their combat always required me to rethink my strategy. New Enemies and Bosses: Cool that we got new enemies, but they were constructs who felt lifeless (No voicelines) and I expected some connections to Constructs from Darksiders 2 as an easter egg or something like that. They were okay, I overthinked a lot of them at the beginning even though they were quite simple, the hardest one for me was in the Force and Stasis hollow section. Shade: Shade’s Damage reduction was not working correctly, issue has been addressed and the number will appear lower than it previously was, but now works correctly. Hollow Counter switch: After successfully executing a perfect dodge, activating a Hollow Form will trigger it’s Arcane Counter. Available from Vulgrim after receiving related Hollow. Hollow themed armor: 4 new color variants of Fury’s base armor, each themed after a specific Hollow with a boost to the specific Hollow’s damage output.
